Donations have been graciously pouring in from so many communities. Many organizations are full with supplies and food. While they WILL STILL TAKE WHAT YOU HAVE. Please consider donating equipment, work supplies, or YOUR VOLUNTEER TIME instead.
TRAVEL TO THE AREA OF BLACK MOUNTAIN/SWANNANOA:
- Eastbound I-40 is now open! (see options 1 and 2 below)
- Westbound I-40 is open to Black Mountain
- Please do not travel during the 7 PM to 7 AM curfew.
If you need, you can also take the following routes:
- Option 1: Go to Charlotte, take 74 to interstate 26 north to highway 25, then take 25 alternate, then go to interstate 40 east to black Mountain exit.
- Option 2: Go to Charlotte, take 74 to Interstate 26 north to Asheville NC, then take 240 bypass around Asheville to Interstate 40 east to Black Mountain exit.
